A Frozen Explosion
This capture was pretty much entirely dumb luck in terms of timing, as I had no idea they used pyro for the castle lighting show, it was just "the lights just turned on, this is probably a good time to snap the picture." When I saw this one on the camera screen, though, I knew this was one of the best shots I had done, despite it appearing way over-exposed. Thankfully this cleaned up beautifully in Lightroom, and all the detail and color where easily revealed by dialing back the highlights, white levels, and exposure.
